John Mcain

This profile of the soon to be nominee for the G.O.P. starts out with a story of one of his rallies. In this story it goes on to explain the types of people that are there and mundain things that Mcain says. It is a very discriptive profile full of facts and opinion. It follows the basics of the genre and is very well written.

1. The intro is giving the impression that John McCain is running a campaign solely based on the war in Iraq and that he is old and out of touch with today’s times.
2. Vague because it is not really about McCain’s personality it deals mostly with his view on the war in Iraq.
3. Word choice is well developed especially when describing the conversation between the two soccer moms.
4. For the point the author is trying to get across the intro is successful. The author introduces that McCain’s campaign is hinged on the war in Iraq.
